First Passenger Flight Lands at night in Mogadishu Airport

A passenger aircraft carrying 200 passengers, pilgrims landed at Adan Adde Interntional airport on Saturday night, marking the first passenger flight in 27 years.

The flight which carries 193 passengers and 7 crews departed from Jeddah for Mogadishu, according to the airport officials, “the airport will be open during the night and the passenger flights will be able to land.”

Somalia government recently announced that the airport is open for business during the night for the first time for more than 2 decades.
